Piemonte Doc - Vini bianchi

A Docg wine that covers the entire territory of Piedmont, in order to enhance its wine production. The Production Regulations (Ministerial Decree of September 17, 2010) group and protect the most varied types of wines, from Moscato to Barbera, from Grignolino to Chardonnay.
 

Piemonte Bianco Doc
Grape variety: Cortese and/or Chardonnay and/or Favorita and/or Erbaluce alone or together with at least the 60%; while the remaining 40% is made from white grapes grown in recommended or authorised vineyards in the Regione Piemonte, except for Moscato bianco.
Minimum alcohol content: 10% vol.

Piemonte Cortese Doc
Grape variety: Cortese from the 85% to 100%; while the remaining 15% is made from non-aromatic grapes grown in recommended or authorised vineyards.
Minimum alcohol content: 10% vol.

Piemonte Chardonnay Doc
Grape variety: Chardonnay from the 85% to 100%; while the remaining 15% is made from non-aromatic grapes grown in recommended or authorised vineyards.
Minimum alcohol content: 10,50% vol.

Piemonte Moscato Doc
Grape variety: Moscato bianco 100%.
Minimum alcohol content: 5,50% vol.

Piemonte Sauvignon Doc
Grape variety: Sauvignon from the 85% to 100%; while the remaining 15% is made from non-aromatic grapes grown in recommended or authorised vineyards.
Minimum alcohol content: 11% vol.

Piemonte Spumante Doc
Grape variety: Chardonnay and/or Pinot Bianco and/or Pinot Grigio and/or Pinot Nero 100%.
Minimum alcohol content: 10% vol.

Piemonte Pinot Bianco Spumante Doc
Grape variety: Pinot Bianco from the 85% to 100%; while the remaining 15% is made from Pinot Grigio and/or Pinot Nero and/or Chardonnay grapes.
Minimum alcohol content: 10,50% vol.

Piemonte Pinot Grigio Spumante Doc
Grape variety: Pinot Grigio from the 85% to 100%; while the remaining 15% is made from Pinot Bianco and/or Pinot Nero and/or Chardonnay grapes.
Minimum alcohol content: 10,50% vol.

Piemonte Pinot Nero Spumante Doc
Grape variety: Pinot Nero from the 85% to 100%; while the remaining 15% is made from Pinot Bianco and/or Pinot Grigio and/or Chardonnay grapes.
Minimum alcohol content: 10,50% vol.

Piemonte Pinot Spumante Doc
Grape variety: Pinot Bianco and/or Pinot Grigio and/or Pinot Nero 100%.
Minimum alcohol content: 10,50% vol.

Piemonte Pinot Chardonnay Spumante Doc
Grape variety: Chardonnay and/or Pinot Bianco and/or Pinot grigio and/or Pinot Nero 100%.
Minimum alcohol content: 10,50% vol.

Piemonte Chardonnay Pinot Spumante Doc
Grape variety: Chardonnay and/or Pinot Bianco and/or Pinot grigio and/or Pinot Nero 100%.
Minimum alcohol content: 10,50% vol.

Piemonte Cortese Spumante Doc
Grape variety: from the 85% to 100%; while the remaining 15% is made from non-aromatic grapes grown in recommended or authorised vineyards.
Minimum alcohol content: 10% vol.

Piemonte Chardonnay Spumante
Grape variety: Chardonnay from the 85% to 100%; while the remaining 15% is made from non-aromatic grapes grown in recommended or authorised vineyards.
Minimum alcohol content: 10,50% vol.

Piemonte Bianco Frizzante Doc
Grape variety: Cortese and/or Chardonnay and/or Favorita and/or Erbaluce alone or together with at least the 60%; while the remaining 40% is made from white grapes grown in recommended or authorised vineyards in the Regione Piemonte, except for Moscato bianco.
