Piemonte Rosato Doc is a rosé wine made from Barbera, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Freisa or Croatina grapes, vinified pure or mixed in any combination with other red grapes (aside from the aromatic ones). It is part of a broader Controlled designation of origin that embraces many and varied types of wine throughout Piedmont, in order to enhance the wine production.

Grape variety: Barbera and/or Nebbiolo and/or Dolcetto and/or Freisa and/or Croatina alone or together with at least the 60%; while the remaining 40% is made from non-aromatic black grapes grown in recommended or authorised vineyards in the Regione Piemonte, except for Brachetto, Malvasia nera lunga, Malvasia di Schierano, Malvasia di Casorzo.
Colour: pink in various shades.
Bouquet: winy, delicate, pleasant.
Taste: dry, fresh, sometimes sweet, sometimes lively.
Minimum alcohol content: 10,50 % vol.
