Piemonte Doc Rosato

Piemonte Rosato Doc is a rosé wine made from Barbera, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Freisa or Croatina grapes, vinified pure or mixed in any combination with other red grapes (aside from the aromatic ones). It is part of a broader Controlled designation of origin that embraces many and varied types of wine throughout Piedmont, in order to enhance the wine production.

Less full-bodied than a red wine Piemonte Rosato is an excellent accompaniment to starters, starters, seafood risotto and main courses of white meat. Pleasant with fish dishes, soups and fried foods, but also excellent with fresh or slightly aged cheeses. Nice for aperitifs and socialising moments, it should be served at a temperature of 8-10 °C.
