The only Docg that groups several types of wine: Arneis, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Freisa, Chardonnay, Favorita, which are all produced from grapes grown in 94 towns corresponding to the hilly region of the Langhe in the province of Cuneo, as provided by the Production Regulations (Decree of December 14, 2010).
The Langhe Arneis, Chardonnay and Riesling are magnificently paired with light appetizers, especially with vitello tonnato. Langhe Arneis is excellent paired with soft cheeses, beef tongue and rice salads. Langhe Chardonnay is a wonderful as an accompaniment to light appetizers, soft cheeses and soup, while you may want to try the Riesling Langhe with escargote.
