Gabiano Doc

A red wine mainly produced from Barbera grapes, with small additions of Freisa and Grignolino, grown on the clayey and sunny hills of the towns of Gabiano and Moncestino in the province of Alessandria. The minimum alcohol content must be of 12 degrees, while the Riserva must be 12.5 degrees, with two years of obligatory ageing.
 

Served at a temperature of 16-18 °C, the Gabiano is a red wine suited to accompany cheeses, pasta with meat sauce and roasts.

Grape variety: Barbera from the 90% to 95%; Freisa and/or Grignolino from the 5% to 10%.
Colour: from intense ruby red to garnet with the ageing.
Bouquet: winy with a characteristic aroma with the ageing.
Taste: dry, full-bodied, harmonious.
Minimum alcohol content: 12% vol.
