Colli Tortonesi Chiaretto Doc

Colline Tortonesi Doc (Ministerial Decree of October 7, 2011) that groups different varieties of wines, white and red, produced in about thirty towns in the province of Alessandria. Among the main types of wines that fall under this designation is Chiaretto, vinified in both still and frizzante varieties.

Colline Tortonesi Chiaretto is a nice pairing with light pasta dishes, seafood, fresh cheeses and slightly chilled, snacks and appetizers such as crostini (croutons) with truffle sauce. Excellent with polenta and cod. It should be served at a temperature of about 14-15 °C

Grape variety: Aleatico and/or Barbera and/or Bonarda piemontese and/or Dolcetto and/or Freisa and/or Grignolino and/or Pinot nero and/or Cabernet franc and/or Cabernet Sauvignon and/or Croatina and/or Lambrusca di Alessandria and/or Merlot and/or Nebbiolo and/or Sangiovese 100%.
Colour: from rosè to light ruby red.
Bouquet: winy, delicate, pleasant.
Taste: dry, fresh, sometimes lively.
Minimum alcohol content: 10% vol.
