Asti Docg

Moscato d'Asti and its sparkling version, Asti Spumante, are today among the most popular dessert wines in the world. Both wines, sharing the same product specification, are produced exclusively from Moscato grapes grown in 52 towns located in the southern area of Piedmont, more precisely in the provinces of Alessandria, Asti and Cuneo. Historical documents attest to the production of Moscato in the Monferrato and Langhe territory as early as 1200.

A delicately sweet and aromatic wine, Asti goes very well with fresh or dry pastries, especially with hazelnut cake and the Paste di megliga (maize biscuits).
Serve at a temperature of 6-8 °C, preferably in a goblet.
