Of medieval foundation, the palace underwent a major renovation during the eighteenth century, and its current appearance is due to the Baroque taste of that era. Inside, on the main floor, are the works of greatest artistic value, featuring numerous seventeenth-century frescoes and overdoors with oil paintings dating back to the eighteenth century. The building, restored with the contribution of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Bra, now houses the city's Culture and Events Office and serves as a prestigious venue for exhibitions and cultural events.
