The Marchesi di Barolo winery, located in the heart of Barolo, was founded over two hundred years ago by the last Marquises of Barolo—Carlo Tancredi Falletti and Juliette Colbert de Maulévrier—to vinify Nebbiolo into Barolo. The Abbona family, having led the winery for over five generations, acts as a faithful interpreter of the heritage of knowledge and the diversity of the local terroir and grape varieties, respecting them and preserving their distinctive character.
