The tasting tables is coordinated by AIS sommeliers, with the technical support of Asti delegation of AIS Piemonte. The walk around tasting will be a discovery journey throughout different territories, winemaking, and wineries.
A selection of more than 150 wineries and about 400 labels coming from Piedmont, as well as from other Italian regions and from around the world (United States, Argentina and Australia), tracing the Barbera vine long story, from its land of origin to its new life in other countries, where it was established by Italian emigrants in the 20th century.
Several experiences will be available during the event: a Barbera pairing with traditional Piedmontese dishes; the Barbera Academy; guided tastings and tastings of Barbera-flavoured pastries.
