For lovers of Egyptology, a fascinating exhibition opens on 8 September 2026 at Palazzo Mathis in Bra. Pharaonic civilisation will take centre stage during the autumn cultural season in the beautiful town of Bra, thanks to agreements between the local council and the Foundation of the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in Turin. 8 September is an important date for Bra, as it coincides with the celebrations for the town’s patron saint’s day. At Palazzo Mathis, visitors will be able to admire 13 amulets, two votive stelae and a religious statue. They will also have the opportunity to explore the sacred dimension, rituals and significant symbolism of ancient Egypt, aided by comprehensive educational materials.
The exhibition will remain open until 6 January 2027, unless extended.
