Resté – Contemporary Art Trails and Experiences in the Langhe is a project spanning Diano d’Alba, Montelupo Albese, Rodello, and Cerretto Langhe that brings together contemporary art, the UNESCO landscape, and local communities. Through permanent installations, artist residencies, and participatory activities, the project highlights the region’s unique character and promotes new ways of engaging with culture.
In 2026, Resté offers a diverse calendar of events: from February 21 to 27, a theater residency with PoEM and Gabriele Vacis; on April 5, Meditation on the Gospel of St. John with PoEM and the scenophonies of Roberto Tarasco; from April 27 to May 3, a residency by artist Sara Fratini; from June 3 to 10, a residency by Uwe Jaentsch; in October, residencies with Farm Cultural Park as part of the Radical She project; between November and December, the exhibition Dimensions of Remaining; between December 2026 and February 2027, the creation of the Habitar pavilion for the Countless Cities biennial.
Promoted by the Parish of San Lorenzo di Rodello in collaboration with key cultural partners, Resté draws inspiration from the concept of “restanza,” understood as a conscious relationship with places. An immersive cultural experience in the Langhe that brings together art, the local landscape, and the community.
