On May 9TH, VILLAFRANCA D’ASTI (Asti) will host the traditional preview of Monferrato On Stage with a special event as part of the “Maiale d’autore” festival, which involves five municipalities in the Asti area—Villafranca, Maretto, Cantarana, Roatto, and San Paolo Solbrito—in collaboration with their respective local tourism associations.
At 7.30PM, LUCA FOGLIATI, together with PIER FRANCESCO MARCONI and FABIO SERRA, will kick off the evening with a tribute to the most famous Italian pop and rock songs.
At 9.45pm on the main stage in Piazza delle Pollaie, LUCA MARTELLI—the legendary drummer for Litfiba, Piero Pelù, Giorgio Canali, and Mezzosangue—will perform “RIDE GORILLA”: a DJ set featuring the most famous songs mixed in real time and played solely on the drums, a show capable of drawing the audience into an energetic live performance.
Closing out the event will be a DJ set by DJ ROBERTINO at 11.30pm.
