"Vascagliana celebrates” as it does every year... albeit in a different way... The beautiful hamlet of San Damiano d'Asti (AT) begins its celebrations on Saturday, August 16th with “Street Food” and on Sunday, August 17th with “Pizza in the Square”...
Among the new features is the 1st edition of the “Terra Astesana” competition: videos, stories, tales, poems, music, words. Trailers will be shown for “Trifole - le radici dimenticate” (Trifole - forgotten roots) with Margherita Buy and “The Truffle hunters” with Sergio Cauda: a tribute to the Trifulau of the past (Valsania Guglielmo) and those of today in Vascagliana. On Monday, August 25th, there will be the Patron Saint's Grand Dinner with Piedmontese-style mixed fried food, as tradition dictates.
