The medieval castle in Monastero Bormida is hosting an exhibition by Acqui-based artist Piero Racchi. The exhibition features a representative selection of Racchi’s work, with approximately eighty pieces displayed in a chronological and thematic arrangement. The works are all inspired by the natural world. A visit to the exhibition is also an opportunity to admire the medieval castle of Monastero Bormida, a place rich in history, art, and charm, as well as the permanent “Edoardo Rubino” plaster cast gallery.

Opening hours for the exhibition “The Scream of Nature”
Saturday: 3.30–6.30pm - Sunday: 10.30 am–12.30pm and 3.30-6.30pm.

At the same time, in the ground-floor galleries, during the same hours, you can visit the solo exhibition by Gianni Venturini—a native of Monastero who has lived in Carmagnola for many years—whose title “Absence of Gravity” somewhat encapsulates the essence of painting and the concept of art for this artist.
