In Castiglione Tinella, at the old parish church in Piazza XX Settembre, an unmissable event for food lovers is being organised on Sunday 15 November 2026 at 3 pm: new olive oil meets Moscato d’Asti D.O.C.G.! Indeed, the olive harvest has begun in recent days after an absence of around seven centuries. Production resumed between 2008 and 2009, thanks to hundreds of olive trees resistant to the Langhe climate and to the people who have revived olive cultivation.
A chance to celebrate the region’s biodiversity. Moscato d’Asti and olive oil, alongside other local produce, will form the basis of an interesting tasting experience – and, above all, a chance to share – lasting around two hours. This will be followed by ‘a chat at the Fauno’ to spend the late afternoon in good company.
Admission by voluntary donation, with a minimum contribution of €3 per person in aid of the A.T.C. – Contessa di Castiglione Pro Loco APS
