On Saturday, November 22, at 9:00 p.m., the Diocesan Museum of Alba is organizing a special evening of music, art, and archaeology.
In a place rich in history such as the Mudi, ancient and medieval art meet the music of the “Amemanera” project with the show “Musica Dalle Radici” (Music From the Roots): a unique research project that for years has been offering songs in the Piedmontese language in a contemporary style with an overseas flavor, with influences ranging from jazz to rock but with melodies that speak of our valleys and hills.
Marco Soria, guitar and vocals, author of the music, lyrics, and arrangements, brings this message of identity and land with original songs and some revisited classics of our culture. Accompanied by pianist Fabrizio Assandri and double bassist Aldo Mella, he will bring past and present, tradition and evolution to life through ancient and new melodies, to remind us a little more of who we are and where we come from.
