- Moncalvo
On Sunday, December 7, Moncalvo will become the stage for the project “Una città due castelli” (One town, two castles), an initiative promoted by Aleramo Onlus as part of the MIC-PNRR program for the cultural and social regeneration of small historic villages.
A.L.E.R.A.MO Onlus has organized a visit to the castle and walkways on Sunday, December 7, at 11 a.m., with readings and illustrations from the historical study. The day will continue in the afternoon at the Civic Theater at 4 p.m. with a symposium featuring Eugenio Garoglio, oplology expert, Walter Haberstumpf, historian and writer, Bruno Monopoli, geologist - LTS Padova, and Anna Maria Ronchi, writer. The presence of several characters in period costume will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the 17th-century atmosphere, brought to life by the harpsichord music of Giacomo F. Lombardi. The initiative will be presented by the president of A.L.E.A.R.A.MO. Onlus, Maria Rita Mottola.
On Monday, December 8, it will be possible to walk the route to the Ursuline convent independently for the first time (meeting in front of the theater), while on December 10, on the occasion of the Fiera del Bue Grasso, the visits to the walkways will be repeated.
Over the coming weekends, it will also be possible to visit the Civic Museum and its exhibitions every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until December 14 and on December 10, during the Fiera del Bue Grasso.
