The Patron Saint’s Festival of San Lorenzo in Alba returns once again this year on 10 August
Here is the full programme for the day
6.00 pm – Holy Mass at Alba Cathedral
7.00 pm in Via Cavour: ‘Notti del Vino’, wine tasting stalls featuring Alba’s local wineries, in collaboration with the National Association of Wine Cities and Go Wine
Piazza Risorgimento – Patron saint celebrations organised by the Borgo di San Lorenzo
- 7.00 pm – DJ set with aperitifs, dinner with live music featuring food trucks and a cocktail bar
- 8.30 pm – Parade by the Borgo San Lorenzo and City of Alba Flag-Wavers’ and Musicians’ Company, setting off from Piazza Michele Ferrero
- 9.00 pm – Flag-waving display
- 9.30 pm – Live show “Matti da legare” by Leonardo Proglio
- 11.00 pm – Address by the Mayor of Alba and final toast with a glass of Moscato d’Asti offered by the City of Alba in collaboration with the Asti DOCG Consortium
