The Bongiovanni Farm is a family-run business founded in 1950 by Giovanni Bongiovanni, the grandfather of the current owner, Davide Mozzone, who—along with his wife Marina and their children Luca and Sara—oversees the entire production and sales process. On our farm, we grow grapes, sort them, and turn them into wine. Over the past 20 years, following the adoption of a reimagined approach to viticulture focused on environmental awareness, the wine produced from our 7 hectares of directly managed vineyards is rigorously selected and bottled.
Our vineyards are located in the heart of the Langhe, within the Barolo production area in the municipalities of Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga, Diano, Roddino, and Monforte. These are very robust soils, capable of shaping the character of the wines produced there. Vineyard management is carried out primarily by hand, with the utmost respect for the environment and the final product. Everything must come together perfectly in the execution of a process that encompasses every stage—from nourishing the vine’s roots to labeling the bottled wine—including the production of sugar-rich grape clusters and their subsequent transformation.
Our love for the land, our dedication, and our passion drive us to pursue paths that we believe are always better and can always be improved—with customer satisfaction as our ultimate goal. Quality is our primary objective; we strive to achieve it through ecological, ethical, clear, and sincere principles—principles that ensure that every bottle of Cascina Bongiovanni, once uncorked, brings happiness and satisfaction to those who enjoy it.
