GranCollina’s butcher shop was established in 1997 alongside the development of the agriturismo, with the aim of enhancing the exceptional quality of Piedmontese Fassona beef, sourced at true zero kilometers. Our farm is home to around fifty head of cattle, all purebred Fassona Piedmontese, raised in a closed-cycle system. This means that the entire life cycle takes place on the farm, from breeding cows and calves to animals raised for finishing. All our cattle are registered with APA and COALVI, ensuring certified quality and traceability. We feed our animals exclusively with natural products, including forage, barley, and maize grown on the farm. This balanced and sustainable diet allows for slow, natural growth, resulting in meat that is tender, flavorful, and of outstanding quality. Our beef is sold directly through our farm shop, where customers can purchase fresh cuts to order or choose convenient family packs, offering both quality and value. In addition to the butcher shop, GranCollina also features a farm pantry dedicated to promoting authentic local products. Here, visitors can find a carefully selected range of zero-kilometer specialties, including farm-grown hazelnuts (fresh or roasted), honey, eggs, cured meats, jams, juices, flours, sauces, and liqueurs—an authentic taste of the Piedmont countryside.
