Birrificio Artigianale ALBA was born in 2015 from the project of two friends, Alessandro and Alberto. It is located at the foot of the imposing Guarene Castle, in a wing of the ancient 'Cascina del Conte', a courtyard structure dating back to 1700 and internally marked by majestic brick vaults under which the brewery's production facilities are located. The beers are craft brewed according to the dictates of artisanal production. There is a careful selection of raw materials, including cereal grains, hops, spices, yeasts and some local zero mile products, including organic honey, Guarene cherries and Madernassa pear. Each beer retains all the body and substance of the raw materials used, as neither mechanical filtration nor pasteurisation is carried out. The clarity of the product is achieved by natural yeast precipitation and heavy particles during the fermentation process. Bottle re-fermentation naturally develops the carbonation of beer.
