A Docg that includes wines produced in a vast territory formed by the province of Asti, the area of the Colline Alfieri (hillside communities, north-west of Asti) and a portion of Roero, whose lands have a particular morphology that can give the wines produced a particular taste. Among the wines to be most recently classified as a Docg, this designation provides for the production of two varieties: Terre Alfieri Nebbiolo and Terre Alfieri Arneis, which are named after the grape variety used in percentages of at least 85%.
Terre Alfieri Arneis is perfect as an aperitif or enjoyed during a meal: it is a great accompainment to appetizers, pasta dishes and white-meat main courses. Serving temperature of 10-12 °C.
