Produced in red and rosé varieties, Albugnano Docg is a wine made from Nebbiolo grapes in a percentage of about 85% and other typical varieties of Astigiano for the remainder. It is produced exclusively in the town of Albugnano and in three other neighbouring towns (Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Passerano Marmorito, Pino d'Asti), which treasure Nebbiolo’s long history.
