A very special park is hidden in-between the villages of Sommariva Perno, Baldissero d'Alba, Ceresole d'Alba and Sommariva del Bosco, where the hills slope down towards the plain in the direction of Turin.
The Roero Forest Park lies at the centre of the Silva Popularis, the last great woodland of the Po Valley. Over one hundred hectares of land, with large wooded areas, nature trails, ponds and an educational garden. Accessible to all, the park offers experiences for families, trekking and mountain biking enthusiasts, and organizes environmental education days for schools, making nature an integral part of learning.
