Church of Beata Vergine Maria Del Carmine Wall Drawing By David Tremlett

Art

Near the village of Coazzolo, nestled between Langhe and Monferrato, the eye is captured by the colorful Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Carmine, the work of great British artist David Tremlett.

Long forgotten, today the "Moscato Chapel" is one of the most beloved destinations thanks to the wall drawing intervention that gave it new life.

Tremlett used three main colors for his work: yellow, Sienna earth, and olive green, shades that intertwine with the surrounding scenery creating a colorful, unmissable stop on any captivating tour of our hills.
