Below we offer you seven days of activities in the Langa, seven different proposals, to be experienced one at a time, but suggesting which would be the best day of the week in which to book them. We are waiting for you, contact us for information and costs!
Monday
Monday is the most "austere" day of the week, what could be more serious than a wine lesson with a vertical tasting of 4 Barolos or 4 Chardonnays from our production? Followed by a visit to the cellar and lunch.
Tuesday
Sun, nature and the terroir of the Langhe: let's discover Barolo on foot, following a pleasant trek accessible to all on path no. 7 of La Morra, which takes you to explore the precious hills of the great wine famous all over the world. On your return let yourself be tempted by a cool glass of Moscato in the cellar!
Wednesday
Hands-on: in the Agricola Marrone kitchen, our expert cook will teach you the tricks and recipes of the Langhe cuisine. Because there is no better way to get to know our dishes than to cook them yourself. Followed by a visit to the cellar, aperitif on the terrace, lunch/dinner with the dishes that have been prepared and tasting of our wines.
Thursday
A ride on a Vespa or e-bike to discover two of the most significant castles in the Langa: the elegant Grinzane Cavour and the noble Barolo. Interspersed with hills, panoramic views and a visit, lunch and tasting at the Agricola Marrone.
Friday
Wine shopping: a day of tastings and stories of families for generations involved in wine and its magical world. To taste their wines and take them home as a souvenir to share of our beautiful land.
Saturday
Saturday has always been the day of the weekly market in Alba, and we want to combine it with guided shopping of the most typical products of our land: truffles, cheeses and hazelnut-based desserts. With a visit to the marvelous historical centre, among towers, palaces, baptisteries and cathedrals. Following, visit, lunch and tasting at Agricola Marrone.
Sunday
Where do the wines that you like so much come from? Small viticulture lesson in the historic farmhouse of Agricola Marrone, in Madonna di Como, to understand the logic of nature, the different vines, biodiversity and how much effort is behind a bottle of wine. Following, visit, lunch and tasting at Agricola Marrone.
