Discover Montiglio Monferrato: a journey through time, a walk through the beauty of the village and its history.
A plunge into the past: from the castle, now private property, which dominates the entire village, to the Chapel of Saint Andrew, with its magnificent 14th century frescoes by the Master of Montiglio and the sundial on the bell tower. Last stop: the parish church of Santa Maria della Pace, in the heart of the village.
Finally, you can visit the exhibition by historian Giorgio Macchia entitled ‘Il Monferrato:terra di gente e castelli nel cuore dell'Europa’ set up in the council chamber.
