If you love truffles and want to help protect their natural habitat, this is the tour for you!
Enjoy a fascinating walk through the historic streets of Alba as you discover the prized Tuber Magnatum Picco.
The tour begins in Piazza Risorgimento and leads to one of the city’s parks, where you’ll meet two key figures of the truffle world: the trifolau, who will share curious facts about this unique profession and the secrets of the “perfect truffle hunt”, and his loyal dog.
The visit continues through the heart of the old town, passing iconic sites of the Alba White Truffle International Fair and the World Truffle Market, all the way to Piazza Ferrero, in front of Hotel Giacomo Morra. The hotel is named after the visionary entrepreneur and restaurateur who played a major role in making Alba’s white truffle famous worldwide.
By purchasing a ticket, you'll support environmental protection and the preservation of local biodiversity by contributing to the planting of new truffle trees.
