From November 16th to December 22nd, 2024, Govone will host a series of events and performances to celebrate Christmas. Among the planned activities are a musical, children's entertainment, and magic shows.
For the occasion, the town is transformed into Father Christmas’s official residence, and the Royal Castle – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – welcomes visitors into its historic halls with a display created especially for the occasion. Along the avenue surrounding the castle, the Christmas Market’s 50 wooden huts return once again this year, open at weekends in November (14–15; 21–22; 28–29) and December (5–8; 12–13; 19–20), from 10 am to 7 pm.
Main events:
- The "Santa's House" musical: A family-friendly theatrical performance telling the story of Santa Claus and his elves.
- Children's entertainment: Creative workshops and shows to keep the little ones entertained.
- Exclusive tour of Govone Royal Castle: Visit the halls of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Elves' Market: Selected artisans will offer unique and handcrafted products.
