For Palio enthusiasts, we recommend not missing the exhibition "Palio di Asti - Tradizione che continua" (Palio di Asti - A Tradition that Continues) held in Asti at the Sala dei Trofei, Via Pietro Micca 36. Visitors will see artefacts, memorabilia, weapons, banners, palios, texts, historical reproductions on human-shaped mannequins... and many other curiosities of an event that has been going on for more than 750 years. The exhibition, organised by the Rione San Silvestro district, with the patronage of the Municipality of Asti and the Museums of Asti, will be inaugurated on 10 August 2025, which coincides with the exact date mentioned in the precious historical document of 1275 (Asti held a Palio around the walls of the city of Alba) and will end November, 10th the anniversary of the battle of Roccavione (the defeat of Charles I of Anjou and the consequent decline of his influence in Piedmont).
