The Ferrero Foundation and the Sandretto Rebaudengo Foundation are offering an engaging series of events leading up to Alba’s designation as the Italian Capital of Contemporary Art in 2027, featuring four lecture-talks on art from the 1960s to the present and two guided tours. Here is the schedule:
October 6 at 6:30 p.m. – “Art Is a Special Way of Thinking”
October 20 at 6:15 p.m. – “Beyond the Surface: Space in Art”
November 3 at 6:15 p.m. – “Engaging with the Artwork”
November 17 at 6:15 p.m. – “Beyond the Frame: When Art Becomes Earth, Tree, and Breath”
Guided tours of outdoor sculptures and installations:
October 17, 3:00–6:30 p.m. — The works of Petrit Halilaj in Dogliani and Ivan Argote in Bene Vagienna for Radis
October 24, 3:00–6:30 p.m. — The works at the Sandretto Rebaudengo Art Park in Guarene, a major open-air art collection
