Big preparations are underway in Montafia (AT) for the Patron Saint's Day and the 32nd Palio degli Asini (Donkey Race). It all kicks off on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 October at 7 pm with dinners and DJ sets, and on Sunday 5 October at 2.30 pm with a gathering in Piazza Don Bosco for the blessing and start of the parade of runners, donkeys and participants accompanied by the BANDALLEGRA band to the field. At 3 pm, at the “Gino Valle” sports field, “the Palio will be run”. This will be followed by musical entertainment, dinner and celebrations with the winners!
On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October at 12.30 pm, Gran Bollito will be served to the delight of foodies!
