In Albugnano, in the evocative setting of the Rectory of Santa Maria di Vezzolano, we will once again reflect on the relationship between sky and earth, religion and astronomy, art and spirituality.
On Saturday 28th June, from 9.45 a.m. to 1 p.m., the conference ‘Christ and Mary, Sun and Moon, Symbolisms and Icons in Religious Languages from Augustine to Galileo’ will be held, an appointment that combines scientific expertise and theological sensitivity to explore the symbolic richness of the Romanesque hillside.
