On Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May, to mark the Italian Historic Houses Association Day, there will be guided tours of Robella Castle, founded in 1200 by the Counts Radicati of Robella and Cocconato.
Guided by the owners, direct descendants of the founders, visitors will discover how the medieval manor was transformed into a stately home, with the chance to view period furnishings, a table laid with period tableware, and original archive documents attesting to the estate’s links with the Holy Roman Empire. Finally, a visit to the tower with its iron ‘specola’ to admire a 360-degree panorama of the whole of Piedmont.
Exhibition of reproductions of 15th, 18th and 19th-century garments.
Guided tours of the interior rooms (€10.00), tower and observatory (€5.00)
