R-WOMEN Afghanistan - Essere Donne in un mondo complesso - Alba (CN)

On 7 June, at the Palazzo Banca d'Alba (Via Cavour 4, Alba), the inauguration of R-Women, an intense photographic project linking the hills of the Langhe to the fate of Afghan women, through the stories, solidarity and gaze of Piedmontese women winegrowers.

  • 7 June - 4.30 pm: Opening Talk with Azam Bahrami, Monira Najibzada, Maryam Majd and Davide Dutto. Also awaiting confirmation, journalist Giuliano Battiston. 5.30 p.m.: Exhibition opening at the Banca d'Alba headquarters.
  • 12 June - 7 pm: Social Wine Tasting at La Terrazza da Renza (Castiglione Falletto) with the 23 female wineries and DJ set. Proceeds will be donated to Sapori Reclusi.
  • 19 June - 6.30 pm: Debate ‘Being a woman in a complex world’ with Azam Bahrami and Silvia Guberti. Moderator: Carlo Borgogno, at the Milton Bookshop, Alba.
  • 19 June - 9.00 p.m.: Meeting with the Gruppo Fotografico Albese at the Sala Congressi of the Banca d'Alba on the role of photography in social narratives.
