The 18th edition of ‘Itinerari del Sacro’ (Sacred Itineraries), a project launched in 2008 thanks to the collaboration of the dioceses of the province of Cuneo with the aim of promoting the area through themed itineraries, opening sites belonging to the diocese and coordinating cultural volunteering.
Every year, over 500 volunteers from the ‘Volontari per l'Arte’ Association ensure that ‘I Luoghi del Sacro’ (Sacred Places) are open to visitors. Thanks to their valuable contribution, churches, sanctuaries and small chapels are revealed to visitors, who are offered the opportunity to discover some of the most interesting and precious treasures of sacred art in the Province of Cuneo.
During the ‘Cultura a porte aperte’ (Culture Open Doors) weekend, the Volontari per l'Arte of the Diocese of Alba will be opening the following sites. Full details of the sites and contact information for organising your visits to the area are available at visitmudi.it/volontari-arte/.
