From October 24th to November 22nd, 2026, the Church of St. Joseph in Alba will host “L’Origine: The Sacred Between Father and Daughter in Contemporary Art,” an exhibition dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the death of Orsola Maddalena Caccia, daughter of the painter Guglielmo Caccia, known as “Il Moncalvo.” The Arte Narrata project, launched in 2025 to commemorate Guglielmo and Orsola Caccia, comes to Alba with 17 internationally renowned artists, invited to explore the theme of the Sacred and the relationship between father and daughter.

During the exhibition, visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the Roman-era archaeological site located beneath the church, the panoramic bell tower, and the dioramas by Maestro Angelo Proglio dedicated to the life of Jesus and the hilly landscape of the Langhe.

Opening time: Thursday and Friday, 2.30 pm–6 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 10 am, 1 pm, 2.30 pm–6 pm; Monday, 10 am–1 pm
