On Saturday, May 23, at 9:00 p.m., the church of San Giuseppe will host a concert by “Voci fuori dal coro.”
Founded in 1998 and directed by Roberto Beccaria and Maria Teresa Milano, the choir—composed of about thirty singers accompanied by six musicians—will treat the audience to thirteen songs ranging from gospel to spirituals to psalms, set to music by Roberto Beccaria himself in a contemporary polyphonic style (His Eye Is on the Sparrow, Sifu Mungu, “Go Down Moses,” “Kumbaya,” “Abide with Me,” “Amen” medley, “This Little Light,” “Oh Happy Day,” and so on).
