Saturday 4th and Sunday 26th May at 11 a.m. appointment with the Wine Experience at the WiMu in Barolo, the special activity proposed by the Barolo&Castles Foundation on the trail of the "ingredients of wine" to observe the soils of the vineyards up close, discover through a modern relief map what are the boundaries of cru and production areas, and smell the scents and aromas that make the wines of this territory great.
The duration of the educational activity is approximately one hour. Using some soil samples from these hills, taken from different crus in the Barolo area, the most characteristic aspects and peculiarities will be investigated, including the geological and morphological differences that make the Langhe and Roero territory so special for wine production. And, again, through the different bouquets you will learn something more about the reading of perfumes, olfactory sensations and the soul of the great wines of the territory. An in-depth and exciting tale, in which there will be no lack of anecdotes and curiosities about the drink that, for centuries, has represented the history, culture and tradition of entire peoples and territories. And which will culminate with the tasting of a glass of Barolo.
Wine Experience 16 €, including the didactic activity, the tasting of Barolo and the entrance to the Museum with independent visit.
