The Bera family has been cultivating the land for generations. Up until a few decades ago, the estate was self-sufficient, with vineyards, peach orchards, hazelnut groves, fields, and pastures.
Since the 1980s, wine production has taken center stage, leading us toward deep specialization. Today, four brothers fulfill this dream, making wine from our own grapes using modern techniques while honoring our rural heritage.
The name Il Bosseto comes from the boxwood shrub—slow, tenacious, resilient—much like our approach. The vineyards coexist with historical traces: old fruit trees, concrete vats, tuff wells, dry-stone walls—remnants of a rural life that shape our wines.
