For over a century, Moraglio has dedicated itself to the cultivation of hazelnuts in Piedmont, on the hills of the Alta Langa where, by tradition, the richest and most fragrant hazelnut in the world grows: the ""Tonda Gentile trilobata"" (round gentle trilobate) variety, which has obtained European recognition as Piedmont Hazelnut PGI. MORAGLIO was established in 1914 right in the heart of the best production area, in the village of Bosia (CN), and has always been a family-run business. Grandfather Angelo, the founder, was later followed by his son Renato, who expanded the company with the help of the family women and his father-in-law, dedicating himself with enthusiasm and skill to the splendid hazelnut groves that yield one of the most prestigious products of the Langa region. Today, it is his son Edoardo who, while bringing new energy and ideas to the company, has improved the production process up to the final hazelnut processing. The company exclusively processes the fruit from its own hazelnut groves, which are all licensed for the production of Piedmont Hazelnuts PGI. Thanks to modern and professional machinery, the company can ensure the highest quality standards at every stage of processing in order to obtain and package the different semi-finished products: shelled hazelnuts, roasted hazelnuts, hazelnut kernels, hazelnut flour, hazelnut paste, hazelnut spread.
