Azienda agricola Rosso was started by Grandpa in the 1960s with a few hazelnut plants that were processed and harvested by hand. Over the years, his son and grandson worked with passion and effort until they had about 11 hectares of hazelnut groves, updating the work with modern machinery useful for processing. In 2012, the company was further developed by adding shelling, sizing and roasting machinery. A small laboratory was also set up for the production of different types of hazelnut sweets and cakes, which are delivered to various shops in towns, markets, fairs and in the company's own shop with zero-mile products.
