A 120-YEAR-OLD HISTORY Carlo Bocchino, founder of the homonymous distillery, realised that the soul of his Grappa was hidden in that alchemic mystery that only time and the finest woods could give. That Grappa, gushing pure and adamantine, was therefore left to rest for many seasons in a dark corner of the Canelli cellar, to enrich itself with those flavours and aromatic notes, that made it unique and inimitable. In the silence of the centuries-old Cantine Bocchino cellars dug into the tufa of the Canelli hillside, endless rows of barriques release to the sky the pristine perfume of the so called ""acqua di vita"" spirit. Today, as then, it is in these cellars that the secret of our distillates is kept.
