Cascina Bosco Maggiore is a family-run farm that was established on the outskirts of Alba in 1918, in a green oasis in the Langhe, a Unesco heritage site. The farm has been dedicated to the cultivation of the prized ""Tonda Gentile Trilobata"" (round gentle trilobate) hazelnut for over three generations, using the highest criteria of quality and environmental safety. In 2016, siblings Katia and Marco decided to carry on what has been the family business for over a century, and chose to process their hazelnuts in-house. Each phase of the transformation is performed personally, following strict control parameters, both in terms of quality and production and analysis. The production is entirely certified as a Piedmont Hazelnut PGI of the Langhe, which is acknowledged as the best in the world for its excellent flavour and aroma.
