Azienda agricola Carussin was established in 1927 in San Marzano Oliveto, a small village in the Monferrato area of Asti, following the settlement of its founder, Ferro Maggiore, from nearby Calosso. This was the origin of Carussin, or Calossese, the nickname in Piedmontese dialect given to the farmhouse. Today, Luigi and Bruna 'graft' their dreams onto the inherited reality, cultivating vines and producing traditional Piedmontese wines according to the biodynamic method. Luca and Matteo complete the family group. With the project of the Brewery Clan!Destino? Luca has decided to continue the family's journey into the world of fine drinking in his own way by starting a craft beer production. Matteo, with his Agri-Bar called GRAPPOLO vs. LUPPOLO (bunch vs. hop) offers cured meats and cheeses sourced from small farms paired with rare beers and natural wines from producer friends. Bruna has turned her passion and love for donkeys into playful activities with the Asinoi - Pane e Coccole educational farm, whose purpose is to share the rewarding and complex simplicity that donkeys convey.
