- Asti
“Local Treasures” Returns to Asti: A Celebration of White Truffle and Piedmontese Culinary Excellence. From November 14 to December 21, 2025, for six consecutive weekends, the city of Asti transforms into a vibrant showcase of local flavors and artisanal craftsmanship with the return of “I Gioielli del Territorio” – Local Treasures.
Organized by the City of Asti in collaboration with A.T.A.M. – Association of Truffle Hunters of Asti and Monferrato, and supported by Confcommercio Asti, CNA Asti, Asti Agricoltura, and Coldiretti Asti – Campagna Amica, the event officially kicks off on Friday, November 14 at 5:30 PM in Piazza Alfieri, marking the start of the Asti Christmas celebrations.
National White Truffle Fair in Asti
The highlight of the event is the National White Truffle Fair, taking place on November 15 and 16 – a prime opportunity to purchase certified truffles and meet the renowned truffle hunters (trifulau) of Asti, keepers of a tradition recognized by UNESCO. Under the Anfossi porticoes, the twin cities of Valence and Biberach will once again host their popular Christmas markets, while the historic center comes alive with local delicacies, wines from Langhe, Monferrato, and Roero, and artisanal specialties.
The Truffle Pavilion and Tastings
Every weekend, the Truffle Pavilion (Palatartufo) will offer traditional dishes paired with prestigious local wines and tempting desserts such as bunet, hazelnut cake, and panettone with zabaglione.
It’s a festive journey through authentic flavors and holiday cheer, right in the heart of a welcoming, vibrant city.
