- Alba
On Saturday, May 10, at 6 p.m., the Corso Torino 18 Gallery in Alba will pay tribute to the figure of Bruno Rosano (Pratorotondo di Acceglio, 1954 - 2022) with the major exhibition “L'eterna Spinta ad andar per Monti,” articulated over the span of 2025 in three exhibition venues, the second of which is set up at the premises of Alba, Corso Torino 18.
The exhibition, curated by Ivana Mulatero, director of the Mallé Museum, in collaboration with Francesco Revello and Carmen Valoti, and with the support of the Rosano Family, is organized by the Mamo Educational Foundation and the Corso Torino 18 Gallery.
The exhibition presents some 30 large-format photographs-drawn from the archives of the great ski mountaineer, photographer and author of memorable books, guidebooks and maps of the Maira Valley-in which the lakes and waterfalls of the upper Maira Valley, some of the many “Three Thousanders” he climbed, the many refuges, and the snow-covered grange are the protagonists, the bird's-eye views of the Ferrata degli Alpini Oronaye, the valleys with the famous Rocca Provenzale, the “ice tents” of Pis Passet and, finally, the views of the villages of Elva, San Damiano Macra and the medieval Pònt Rufin of Stroppo-Pessa, not to mention the wide shot that from Canosio reaches Rocca la Meja from Becco Nero.
The exhibition will be open to visitors until June 15.
