From 19 to 24 August, the Palazzo Mostre e Congressi ‘G. Morra’ in Piazza Medford, Alba, will host the vintage bicycle exhibition ‘PEDALANDO NELLA STORIA 1869-1900’ (Pedalling through history 1869-1900), featuring models from all over the world, such as the French Michaux, Humber and Rudge from England, Zipp from the United States, and Italian brands Vianzone, Colnago, Bianchi, Legnano, Gios, and Maino. Also on display will be Cogno and Centotorri bicycles made in Alba and the jerseys of champions. The exhibition will be completed by drawings by children from Alba schools.
Opening hours: Tue-Wed-Thu 5pm-9pm, Fri 5pm-10pm, Sat 3.30pm-7.30pm, Sun 9.30am-12pm. Admission is free and no booking is required.
On Tuesday 19 August, at 6.30pm, at the Palazzo Mostre e Congressi “G. Morra”, there will be a RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY for the exhibition and a PRESS CONFERENCE, during which many details about the “La Vuelta a España” race and its protagonists will be announced.
