Pathway 4

Treiso – Ferrere – Giacosa

The path, which starts in Piazza Baracco, initially follows the same itinerary as path number 3, until approximately 600 metres after the hamlet of Bongiovanni. This time, go straight ahead, past S. Stefanetto and Cascina Chiarla, to Cascina Castellissano. About 100 metres before the farmhouse, the path turns left and then doubles back on itself, turning left again on a dirt track, to the hamlet Ferrere.

From this village, the path forks left, and climbs up a paved road past the village of Valgrande to Borgata Giacosa. Turn right along the provincial road for a short stretch, then leave it again, turning left onto a winding paved road.

At Borgata Casotto the path follows a stretch described for path 3 and leads back to the centre of Treiso through the Crave district.
