Horizon Trail
Looking at the gpx track on Google Earth, this trail recalls the silhouette of a long-snouted wolf, but also a shark with a dorsal fin. Actually, there is nothing intimidating about it, quite the contrary: it is a rather easy trail, very scenic and accessible even to people who are less trained. Low gradients and not excessive kilometres make it a walk that is suitable for everyone, including families with children.
In its name lies its essence: to enrich your journey and to keep you company, apart from the charming Langa landscapes, you will have the unmistakable outline of Monviso with its breathtaking sunsets.
The departure is then from Serravalle Langhe, the village that is the convergence point of up to four valleys and as many hill ridges. Here you will easily find a car park and after a stretch along Provincial Road SP 32, towards Bossolasco, turn right towards Località Pradonne and continue on track no. 201 (white/blue signposts): a few steps and you will be surrounded by meadows and hazelnut groves and, from the outset, you will be rewarded with splendid views. When you reach Cascina Corna, turn left onto a short stretch of asphalt road, which you will soon leave to follow the ridge trail to Località Travagli.
After passing through this hamlet, keeping to the left, you reach Località Manere. A short intersection with SP 32 and then immediately turn right onto a dirt road at the end of which you turn left onto Via Villa and then onto Via Bricco Broncio for a last taste of beauty and nature. Continue downhill and you will be back at the departure point.
